Who we Are

Jackie can trace her Cumbrian heritage back over 300 years, rumour has it, she is a descendant of John Peel, not the DJ, but a great hero, or zero! depending on your attitude to the country-side and the great outdoors.

 

Tim is Jackie’s husband and has spent a lifetime working in the service industry, Tim has managed some of the Finest Restaurants & Hotels in The Lake District. 

 

David, Executive Chef, is a well known local Chef winning many awards to Rosette level for his food. He is proud to have been personally chosen by HRH The Prince of Wales, to cook for many Private Dining events on his regular visits to stay in Rosthwaite, therefore David cooks food that really is “Fit for a King”

 

Jake, Keswicks new kid on the block, Jake has recently graduated with distinction from the pretigious Lyzzick Hall Country House Hotel, he has also just been crowned winner of his first national award; The Cherry Grainger Award and has also just been announced winner of The Sheila Hensman Award for excellence by Cumbria Tourism, he is going to add his new and exciting twists on modern contemporary British classic cuisine to our Sunset Supper Club

 

Great living and great food is about local and fresh produce, and that’s exactly what Keswick Kitchen is about. We all harness a long Cumbrian Heritage & years of culinary knowledge, we only use Meat & Game sourced from our natural larder here in The Lake District & pair it with Vegetables and Herbs from the Kitchen Garden:
